The fact that ...
The fact that generations of my family fought for the freedom? and opportunity that we have today, I think qualifies me to uphold what they battled for. And they sure as hell would hate to see the country become a slum like Surrey/Brampton is. They would also hate the sheer lack of respect and unwillingness to adapt to our nations norms demonstrated by most FOB Chinese people these days. Disgraceful. Yes there are exams. I have friends that are engineers and had to take provincial exams to become qualified to work or practise. The exams are very hard and not many Canadians can pass them. Some may have to go back to uni and and repeat courses. I ended up getting a masters before taking the exam. And if you do not do your research before coming here (I did) and know? if you are qualified to work here than it is the immigrant's fault not Canada Immigration.

Hey, I'd appreciate any advice any canadians can give me. I was born in Canada and in a month i'll be graduating university in Ireland with a structural engineering degree. I was thinking? of moving to Canada, maybe get a crappy job for a while and then see if i can get a good job over there for just a year. What are the odds? Thanks!

A NURSING EXAM is NOT a f**king masters degree or a PHD you moron. There is no "nursing exam" for a mechanical? engineer or a doctor. It was easy for you. Try retaking 4-6 years of lost degrees..... The whole point of Canada's policy is to give immigrants the s**t jobs that no one wants. That's why I promptly moved to the USA and I couldn't be happier....

I think they could have given nice lives to their children in their own countries as well. A doctor or an MBA graduate can have a decent living in their own countries with family and friends. Moreover their children will grow up in their own culture. In my opinion one should only go to western countries for further? studies, and then return to make their own country a better place.

I think Canadian govt choose their? immigrants carefully (correct me if I'm wrong) unlike US govt because they just pick up anyone randomly by dvlottery. Most of the Canadian immigrants used to be elites in their own countries and I think they are only gonna do good for the Canadian society. I think all the anger comes from the families? of Canada's European founding settlers "who built the country". They don't hate immigrants, they hate the government for taking in too many, and destroying their quality of life, and of course our once great health care system.
